GENERAL
Trimol Group, Inc. is focused on the development and
commercialization of environmentally sound and cost effective
technologies. The
Company holds the worldwide rights to a proprietary aluminum-air
fuel cell technology for use in portable consumer electronics such
as cellular telephones, laptop computers, hand-held devices and
other electronic products. This
unique technology is designed to provide consumers with an
inexpensive and significant longer lasting power source than
traditional batteries. In
addition to its unique characteristics as a power source, the
technology (both in the manufacturing and) has no adverse impact
on the environment and all of its by-products are completely
recyclable.
The
aluminum-air fuel cell technology was developed by Aluminum-Power
Inc., a Toronto, Ontario based fuel cell development company (www.aluminum-power.com).
The first product that the Company anticipates bringing to
market using this revolutionary aluminum-air technology is a
cellular telephone battery, to be followed by a computer laptop
battery. Tests on the cellular telephone battery prototype have
shown that the aluminum-air fuel cell powered battery provides
more talk time than any other battery currently on the market.
The Company is continuing its technology development
program in cooperation with Aluminum-Power with a target goal for
its cellular phone battery of up to 24 hours talk time and a
heretofore unknown stand-by time of up to 30 days. These
anticipated results are head-and-shoulders above any cellular
telephone battery technology currently available. The Company
anticipates full capacity production of its aluminum-air fuel cell
powered cellular telephone battery by spring of 2002. In addition,
the Company has entered into discussions with Aluminum-Power in
connection with cooperation and development of future products,
devices and systems incorporating Aluminum-Power's fuel cell
technology.
In
addition, through its subsidiary Intercomsoft Limited, the Company
holds the worldwide rights to a proprietary technology used to
produce secure government identification documents, which has been
a significant revenue generator for the Company since its
acquisition in 1998.
COMPANY
FOCUS
The
Company's focus is on its revolutionary aluminum-air fuel cell
technology, which is designed to provide consumers with an
inexpensive and significantly longer-lasting power source than
traditional batteries. Five
years of research and development have confirmed that the
Company's fuel cell has the capacity to provide significantly more
power that any fuel cell or battery currently available. As the
cellular telephone is transformed from a simple and convenient
communications device into the communications command centre of
the future with extensive Internet and data capabilities,
batteries that are currently available to the consumer will not
have the capacity to provide the power required to service these
devices. The Company believes that its aluminum-air fuel cell will
be able to provide the extended power soon to be needed by the
wireless industry to service its next generation of wireless
products - and provide such power at an affordable cost.
Following the launch of its cellular phone battery, the Company
plans to target the portable PC market. With superior capacity and
low cost, management believes that its products will be welcomed
by consumers demanding an exceptional power source to meet the
requirements of the next generation of multimedia enabled portable
PCs.
The
Company plans to be competitive in the marketplace by providing
superior product performance, convenience, lower price and rapid
global distribution through four initial channels: - Strategic
alliances with cellular phone carriers - Strategic alliances with
cellular phone manufacturers - Key retail distribution (wireless
accessories outlets) – Retail points of sale at travel and
service areas
HIGHLIGHTS
- The
Company has set specific goals to be NASDAQ qualified by
year-end.
- The
Company is entering the $2 billion dollar fuel cell industry
armed with a unique, cost effective and environmentally
friendly technology that will provide a superior power source
to what is currently available.
Industry analysts predict that spending on fuel cells
is expected to reach $10 billion by 2003 with another $40
billion in related spending, making it a $50 billion sector.
- The
Company is governed by an
experienced board of directors and led by a strong management
team.
- The
Company anticipates transition into full production phase

MARKET OVERVIEW
Cellular phones have experienced tremendous growth in the past
five years. Gartner Research's Dataquest predicts that it is
possible that by the year 2005 the cellular handset market is
expected to reach one billion subscribers between 2003 and 2005,
up from some 300 million wireless units in use today. Of these
wireless units, 35 million are expected to be wireless data
subscribers and 400 million to be mobile Internet users by 2004.
The Company's technology is designed to keep pace - indeed out
pace - the power needs of this industry.
The portable PC market is the fastest growing segment
of the PC market. IDC (International Data Corporation) and Frost
& Sullivan both predict the market will grow to 25-35 million
units by 2002. Like cellular phones, additional enhanced features
such as digital video, larger LCD screens and 3D graphics, will
require higher power requirements than can be provided with
existing battery technology.

PERFECT
POWER SOURCE FOR CELL PHONE & LAPTOPS
The
Company’s self-contained power source promises minimum
environmental impact. It’s
aluminum-air fuel cell is composed of an aluminum anode set in an
alkaline solution and an oxygen diffusion cathode. Contained by a
self-recharging cartridge, the fuel cell's specific output is
2.5wt*hr/cm3 - far greater than any available fuel cell or battery
currently on the market. The emission-free oxidation of aluminum
provides a power supply unmatched in terms of cost, efficiency and
energy output. While the average Lithium Ion or Nickel Cadmium
battery allows up to 120 minutes of talk time on a cellular phone,
the aluminum-air fuel
cell is
expected to provide up to 24 hours
of wireless talk time and up to 30 days of standby in digital mode.
Similarly, the maximum wireless access of conventional laptop
computer is about two hours. In contrast, it is anticipated that
the Company’s aluminum-air fuel will easily accommodate up to 24
hours of operation.
APPLICATIONS
The
following portable electronic devices are some of the products
that will be able to make use of the Company’s aluminum-air fuel
cell as a power source:
- Cellular telephones
- Notebooks and handheld computers
- Handheld gaming devices
- Audio and video players
- Video cameras
