Primary Business

Global Axcess Corp. is a financial services organization whose mission is to develop and acquire companies focused on leading edge technology in the delivery of goods and services to customers through free standing, remote site, interactive terminals, and ATMs (Automated Teller Machines). Frost & Sullivan, a nationally respected market research firm defined the Interactive Terminal Kiosk as the “Vending Machine of the Information Age. The study indicated the markets are growing at a formidable pace. In 1996, the US interactive market alone grew to $369.7 million dollars. Frost & Sullivan projects the market to grow to $2.94 billion dollars by 2003, demonstrating a compounded annual growth rate of 35%. The total interactive terminal marketplace is divided between retail (CD on Demand), Finance (ATM plus enhanced services), and tourism (hotel information terminals).

Market Overview

The ATM marketplace has been expanding rapidly since the U.S. surcharge ban was lifted in 1994. Global Axcess is acquiring an infrastructure of ATM related companies to cater to this ever-expanding ATM industry. Through its acquisitions, Global Axcess is poised to leverage its advanced technology, economies-of-scale, and industry knowledge to capture a substantial portion of the ATM market. With the advent of advanced function ATMs and additional services being sold through ATMs, the future of ATM processing and management will be in ever increasing demand. The advanced function ATM industry is only in its infancy stage. As a turnkey provider, Global Axcess expects to lock in long-term contracts on thousands of existing ATM retail outlets to place ATM kiosks capable of providing many types of financial and digital-based products that will create additional revenue streams to the existing revenue base.

Global Axcess has an exciting opportunity to become the leader of the ATM industry. With surcharge bans now being lifted in other countries, International markets are just beginning to open up to non-bank deployment of ATMs. As a result of the technology and software source code, Global Axcess can easily export its technology and expertise to business partners throughout the world.
